 | About the Owner | | Lowell D. Dye, PMP, has been president of TriCon Consulting, Inc. since the company’s inception in 2001. He has more than 25 years of training and hands-on experience in project management, operations, and human resource management. Lowell is a recognized speaker, trainer, consultant, mentor, and author in the areas of project and portfolio management. He has developed and taught more than 100 project management courses. His project management training and consulting services have been provided to numerous Fortune 500 organizations in the areas of IT, Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Defense systems.
Lowell is the co-editor of two books — Project Portfolio Management: Selecting and Prioritizing Projects for Competitive Advantage and Managing Multiple Projects: Planning, Scheduling and Allocating Resources for Competitive Advantage. He is a frequent presenter at conferences, seminars, workshops, and special events and has developed and instructed multiple project management and professional development classes for both private corporations and public not-for-profit institutions throughout the world. Lowell has also written numerous articles for professional magazines in the United States and internationally.
Lowell earned an undergraduate degree from the University of the State of New York (Excelsior College) in 1982. Then, in 1983, he earned a Master’s Degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas.
Lowell is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) since 1991. He is also a member of the American Society of Training and Development and the Product Development and Management Association. | |
